“Signature -8mm Herringbone Laminate. We had this floor put down everywhere in our downstairs area, approximately 60m2. Unfortunately, we are having issues with the flooring, it keeps splitting in joints. It is happening in every room of the house : kitchen , dining area, front room & the hallway. The builders leveled the floor everywhere before putting it down and followed the manufacturing guidance. We are really disappointed with this product as we renovated the house and the flooring is an issue. It costed us a lot of money - plus the Labour costs. We have also purchased a different type flooring with this company that we have put down in our bedrooms upstairs & this floor is absolutely fine. This makes us think that the herringbone laminate flooring that we decided to go for downstairs is a very poor-quality , faulty flooring. We have complained to Discount Flooring and had to pay additional £100 for the inspection to find out that it is installation fault. Apparently the expansion gaps are not big enough. Please see the pictures. The report was vary unprofessional and vague & most of all not truthful. My father in law has also bought this floor for his kitchen and has exactly the same issues. ( picture attached) He has 3 different types of laminate flooring and the Signatura herringbone is the only one that is breaking in joints. “I ordered flooring from this company a year ago, and have been happy with the style and quality. I unfortunately had an underfloor leak, meaning I needed to replace the flooring in my kitchen. I needed a very fast delivery, called the office and was assisted by Aaron who I must say was great. He helped me arrange to have the flooring the next morning so that our carpenters could get on with the job. Aaron made a number of calls to ensure the delivery could be at my requested time and followed up in a timely fashion. I have encountered countless issues with other companies I have dealt with during my house renovation, and the customer service here has by far been the best which makes all the difference as it can be extremely stressful. Impressed, and will definitely be recommending the company to friends and colleagues. Thanks again!”
