I was happy with the flooring itself, but not happy at the fact that the delivery of 15 packs of laminate were just left in my drive. How can this company expect people to get the goods in the house. The fact it was raining was annoying too. I would rather pay that little extra and have a better delivery service. Not all of us have help to get the goods into the house. Therefore, wont be buying from this company again.

Samples and flooring was delivered quickly and efficiently. However, when we received our order the underlay was missed. We contacted the customer service team and were told the finance team will be in touch to confirm the refund - 5 working days have now passed and still no refund. The delay is causing significant frustration as we do not have the disposable funds to cover the cost of a new underlay. Customer service of this business is not satisfactory. Very disappointing.

Quick delivery but I feel the delivery charges are not justified…. If you are spending £££ it should come with free delivery. Also its a con to charge you £75 for returns. I had some boxes left over and wanted to send it back. I was informed by customer service that it would could £75…. Absolutely a con and I will not be using this company again or recommend them to anyone

Flooring is fine but delivery prices are unbelievably high! Cost more for delivery than one pack of flooring!!

Can only base this on the online experience. Haven't actually spoken with any representative of DFD. Firstly the pricing was inconsistent between the website and the sample I received. When enquiring I was of course told the more expensive price was correct so paid the extra as we wanted this floor My biggest however gripe is the delivery T&C's which were sent days after through after I had purchased the flooring. And I quote Sometimes accidents happen. That's why it's important you check your delivery once it has arrived. Take photos of any damage while it is on the pallet and you must sign for it as 'damaged' with the driver. Based on this only I can't recommend the company. I hope however the quality of the flooring differs from the above. Have some scissors ready to cut away the plastic covering and look for any dents, rips or tears. Complete this form within 60 minutes of your floor arriving for your claim to be processed. We can send you out free replacements at once. Please see our full terms and conditions here. Complete a form within 60 minutes of delivery. Hardly reasonable at any time but especially when the majority of people will be out at work as I was. On a 14 hour shift I might add. and someone has remained available to take the delivery who is not likely to grasp what they need to be looking for in terms of damage. Service from flooring depot was satisfactory, service from the courier horrific. Flooring was originally lost on day of delivery , no option to change alternative day of delivery . Finally dumped on the drive, extensively damaged without so much as a card through the door.. Not what I was expecting.

I still haven't had a reason as to why the floor came a day later than we were told. The delivery guy had no idea why either... The floor is good though so there's that. But i'm still annoyed that because I had to stay in all day on both days, I had to work on the weekend. Not happy.

The website was incredibly buggy. I kept adding samples to my basket, and was continually told my basket was empty. Completely put me off unfortunately. Used a different supplier.

Very persistent calls, delivery driver just dropped and left before I could check it nothing to sign- different to the guidsnce given, submitted 5 pics of the damaged goods and missing items and slow to respond

I'm not satisfied with customer service. My flooring arrived with 1 pack damaged which the driver acknowledged and said he would take it back, I said I will keep it and use what I could. He reported when he got back and I emailed CS. Nothing happened I wrote again nothing happened. I was short on my floor and instructed my carpenter to go and fine more planks from elsewhere- nothing matched! I had to rejig my kitchen to enable me to use what I had. It cost me extra time, labour and cost for employing a carpenter. Still I never heard from customer services!
