After spending extensive time searching the internet to find laminate flooring I decided to go with discount flooring direct. HUGE MISTAKE! After spending £45 on delivery only to receive an email on the day of delivery to say it will be a curb side delivery. I was absolutely devastated especially with my limited mobility. The price of services have increased but labour has decreased. I would never order from this company again let alone recommend them to anyone

I ordered a sample almost 2 weeks ago, I advised one of the advisors that I was dissatisfied with the delay, he said "all the best with your search" (with a competitor). I assume, by this response, that you do not appreciate our business. How disappointing.

Keep getting pestered for reviews.. so far not great sent wrong samples took couple days longer the expected looking to order asap.. then got an email saying you sent the wrong samples and still waiting for new ones to arrive overall not the best start, also your gold underlays priced stupidly high compared to everywhere else. Hopefully I get the right samples today 👌🏼🙌🏼

Wanted to order samples to choose colours. Could only order 3 so not much to compare. They came within a few days but the samples were quite damaged which made me question the quality and longevity. Did a few tests and even my daughter could manage to peel off the finish. Not impressed by the product! Won't be ordering that.

Horrendous service. Delivery was left out in the rain. Try acclimatising laminate after that? No underlay. With the delivery. Had to buy it again at local builders merchants. They are still insisting on delivering a week later despite repeated emails asking to simply refund. I cannot get through on phone. Customer service if you can call it that comprises emails which they ignore. Or reply too at their leisure. I advise anyone avoid this company like the plague.

Feel like scammed £45 charge for purchase Delivery and 75£ return delivery. I bought 1 pack of flooring that should be water resistant to use in bathroom and on the pack it’s written that after 48h water will damage surface, I contacted customer service to get alternative replacement and I was advised to put in the bin and order another one.

One pack of boards delivered with damaged ends. DFD responded initially, but soon stopped answering my emails. So customers had better unpack all items completely before delivery driver leaves. Also, if you detail any damages on delivery note by hand, this information is cut-off the bottom part signature scan DFD send to say packages signed for in good order. Not very good.

Following a good start to service. I have since had a new kitchen fitted and finished only to find, after a few weeks, the quality of the flooring which was guaranteed for 15 years is moving apart as the clicking system is inadequate. Following a lot of emails back and forward and told the kitchen was ‘too heavy’ for the flooring, the company have agreed to give a refund for the damaged flooring (which does not cover the amount I actually paid or delivery) nor are they accepting responsibility for the fact I have now additional costs to have my new kitchen, skirting boards and flooring redone. Be very careful before you choose your flooring. I would hate to have this happen to anyone else. It is very distressing!

Didn’t deliver on time. I had to call them . Can’t speak to anyone from DFW … courier company told me they would call me back …. Never did … had to chase up again. It’s not over a week since scheduled delivery and still don’t have my floor

2/3 packs arrived damaged. They were right in the middle of the pallet so it seems they had just put it there hidden. I checked the top ones and sides ones, they were fine as soon as I check the ones in the middle they are broke. They do this guys because they know people don’t always check every single pack. As customers we should not have to check to see if something we have paid for is BROKEN. Due to not reporting any damage with the delivery driver, I have just lost 3 packs worth of flooring through no fault of my own. I won’t be ordering from discount flooring depot again. Their business model is clearly designed to mug people off with broken packs hidden in the middle of the pallets. The guys wrapping these pallets are absolute idiots that don’t follow industry standards.

Ordered and arranged delivery for the Monday. Didn't arrive, messaged and told would send Tuesday, didn't come Tuesday, turned up on the Wednesday. Will not use this company again

Disappointing service from otherwise good product. One box of flooring out of 8 delivered damaged but I didn't find the damage until several days later when I laid the floor. The company refused to accept the liability because they expected me to notify them within 60 minutes of delivery. Totally unreasonable t&c's .

Signature -8mm Herringbone Laminate. We had this floor put down everywhere in our downstairs area, approximately 60m2. Unfortunately, we are having issues with the flooring, it keeps splitting in joints. It is happening in every room of the house : kitchen , dining area, front room & the hallway. The builders leveled the floor everywhere before putting it down and followed the manufacturing guidance. We are really disappointed with this product as we renovated the house and the flooring is an issue. It costed us a lot of money - plus the Labour costs. We have also purchased a different type flooring with this company that we have put down in our bedrooms upstairs & this floor is absolutely fine. This makes us think that the herringbone laminate flooring that we decided to go for downstairs is a very poor-quality , faulty flooring. We have complained to Discount Flooring and had to pay additional £100 for the inspection to find out that it is installation fault. Apparently the expansion gaps are not big enough. Please see the pictures. The report was vary unprofessional and vague & most of all not truthful. My father in law has also bought this floor for his kitchen and has exactly the same issues. ( picture attached) He has 3 different types of laminate flooring and the Signatura herringbone is the only one that is breaking in joints.
