“The sales process was great, but everything after that has been a nightmare. My flooring was left in torrential rain without notice or a required signature, so I had to unpack everything just to dry it out. When it finally came time to install, we discovered a clear manufacturing fault — the boards were misaligned by 12mm across multiple rows, making it impossible to fit properly. I reported this with photos and batch numbers, and the supplier agreed it was a likely machining fault. But after that, communication collapsed. Couriers turned up without warning, forcing me to leave work, and even then couldn’t take the boards on the first attempt due to their own requirements. The flooring was uplifted over a week ago and since then I’ve had no meaningful communication and no refund, despite multiple chasers. The after-sales service has been extremely poor and has caused major delays to our renovation. Based on this experience, I can’t recommend the company at all.”

“I used DFD about 6 years ago and wanted to know if flooring I bought then was still available, I was surprised they still had the orderdetailsbut within seconds of enquiring they had all my details to hand. Sales were very helpful whan I placed my order and they even held the order at the warehouse for a month whist work was being done in readiness for the new floor. Excellen prices, excellent products, that's why I went back to DFD and I cant see me going anywhere else.”

“Got a flooring on a reduced offer. Slightly lighter colour than expected but suits the room. Lots of the bottom pieces were damaged and I just about managed to complete the room using the 10% excess. Corners of the boxes are not reinforced and lots of the corners of the laminate were damaged. Flaky joins and which made for problematic joins and needing to discard pieces.”
